Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
